PRB: Database Loaded in Standby Mode if No Recovery Mode is Selected from Destination Database Window When You Configure Log Shipping (301049)

When you configure Log Shipping through the SQL Server Enterprise Manager Database Maintenance Plan wizard, if you select NORECOVERY mode in the Add Destination Database dialog box, the database is loaded in STANDBY mode.
The recovery status of this database is reverted to NORECOVERY after the first transaction log backup is applied by the Log Shipping schedule.
WORKAROUND
The database recovery status is changed to LOADING after the application of the first transaction log backup. No action is required by the user.
