When you remove a certificate in Key Manager, the SSL port for the site in which the key was bound may be blank in the Internet Service Manger. If you create a new key, this SSL port binding is not restored.
CAUSE
When a key is deleted from Key Manager, the binding to the SSL port is removed because without a key no SSL binding can exist.
WORKAROUND
After you remove a key, install or import a new key and configure the SSL port in the site's properties in the Internet Services Manager.
