This article was previously published under Q300861 SYMPTOMS In a Microsoft Word 2000 document, when you click in a table in a
frame and then right-click the frame anchor, you receive the following error
message: WINWORD.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being
created. CAUSE Typically, when you right-click a word that is spelled
incorrectly or that is grammatically incorrect, the appropriate spelling or
grammar shortcut menu appears. When you right-click the anchor instead of the
word, Word still tries to display the spelling or grammar shortcut menu.
Because the context is not correct, Word stops responding, and the error
message described in the "Symptoms" section appears. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest
