SYMPTOMS

A program does not run simultaneously on two sessions or for two different users when the users are logged on with the Fast User Switching feature. In addition, the program may not launch or the user may receive a message stating that the program is already running.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the program was not tested or designed to run in multiple user accounts simultaneously.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, contact the manufacturer of the program for a newer version that has been tested for Windows XP.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
