Post-Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 COM+ Hotfix Rollup 11 fixes a compliance problem in Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator (MS DTC) for the QUERIEDFOUND response. In this hotfix, a QUERIEDEXISTS response is implemented to comply with the TIP specification.
However, after you install this hotfix, MS DTC no longer accepts both QUERIEDFOUND and QUERIEDEXISTS in response to the QUERY message, which MS DTC sends in response to QUERY for a committed branch. MS DTC should accept QUERIEDEXISTS instead of QUERIEDFOUND.
