Installing Reports on a Replicated Database Results in a "DAS Not Found" Error Message (300318)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Reporting component on a replicated database in Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM), you receive a "DAS Not Found" error message and the installation stops.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because MOM does not currently support installation of only the Reporting component on a replicated database.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
