Legend Does Not Appear for Graph That Has a Large Number of Counters (300302)

SYMPTOMS

When the system generates a graph that has a large number of counters, the graph legend may be missing.

CAUSE

This behavior is caused by the excessive number of items (between 10 and 20, depending on the screen resolution) that the system is trying to place on the legend. If you specify too many items at once, the graphing engine cannot display the legend in a readable font, and therefore no legend appears.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, specify fewer items for display on the graph.
