SYMPTOMS

If you suspend and resume your computer repeatedly, system resources may be depleted. This problem is known to occur only with the Japanese (East Asia) version of Windows 98.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
