PowerPoint templates that you select in Office Personal Portfolio do not appear (300094)

When you select a template on the PowerPoint tab in Microsoft Office Personal Portfolio, the template may not appear as expected.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when Microsoft PowerPoint is already started in the background, and then you click a template in Microsoft Office Personal Portfolio. The template is, in fact, opened, but it remains in the background.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, click Presentationx on the taskbar (where x is the presentation number that you want). The PowerPoint window is restored and your PowerPoint presentation appears as expected.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
