Visio2002: Relationships Are Not Retained When You Rotate or Flip Shapes in an Active Directory Diagram (300010)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Visio, when you attempt to rotate or flip shapes in an Active Directory diagram, the shapes in your diagram are rotated or flipped as expected. However, the relationships between the shapes are not retained in your drawing page or in the Directory Navigator window.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when you attempt to use the Rotate Right, Rotate Left, Flip Horizontal, or Flip Vertical commands on the Shape menu to rotate or flip shapes in an Active Directory diagram.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, click Undo on the Edit menu to resume the original layout of your Active Directory diagram.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
