Cannot Print over a Network until Paintbrush Is Terminated (30389)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS 2.0
- Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS 4.0
This article was previously published under Q30389 SUMMARY
You cannot print through a network until Paintbrush is terminated.
This is because Microsoft Paintbrush does not close the data stream
associated with the printing device. The Paintbrush picture still
prints because the temporary picture file in the network remains open.
