Microsoft Directory Synchronization Services Does Not Migrate User to NetWare 5.1 (299784)

SYMPTOMS

When you are migrating users from Active Directory to NetWare version 5.1 with NDS version 8.5 and DirXML, Microsoft Directory Synchronization Services (MSDSS) may not migrate the users.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if MSDSS does not set the LoginDisabled flag.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain and install Microsoft Windows Services for Netware 5.0 Service Pack 1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
