Corporate Skin Does Not Work Properly After Upgrade (299460)

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade from Microsoft Whistler Beta to Windows XP, the Corporate skin may no longer function properly. Advanced features of the skin such as Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) Closed Captioning and other Accessibility mode features may no longer function.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the Corporate skin was not replaced by the Default skin.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use the Default skin. Note that the Default skin has all of the capabilities of the Corporate skin.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
