Visio2002: Database Menu, Output Window Are Missing When You Open Database Solution Drawing (299196)

SYMPTOMS
When you open or activate a Microsoft Visio Database solution drawing in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Database menu, Database Properties window, and other parts of the Database solution are not loaded.
CAUSE
The Visio Database solution requires a Visio drawing window to initialize itself correctly. In-place activation and in-place editing in Internet Explorer are not supported.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONNOTE: OLE in-place editing works correctly in the following Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Microsoft Word.
