The Mouse Pointer Disappears Behind the Media Bar in Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000 (298921)

SYMPTOMS

If you are running Internet Explorer 6 on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, and you play a video in the Media bar, the mouse pointer is not displayed when you move it over the video area. The mouse pointer continues to move behind the video area.

WORKAROUND

This behavior does not cause any problems because the video area does not contain anything that needs to be clicked. However, this does limit your ability to use the video controls or close the window.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
