XCCC: Exchange 2000 OWA Reply with Attachment Generates Winmail.dat (298917)

SYMPTOMS

When you are using Exchange 2000 Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) and you reply to Web mail from a foreign mail system and include an attachment in the reply, the recipient may receive a Winmail.dat file as well as the original attachment. This Winmail.dat file is not generated when you use Exchange 2000 OWA to reply to a message with an attachment from Exchange 2000 OWA.

RESOLUTION
