SUMMARY

Outlook 2001 for Mac does not utilize the Category field that is provided in previous versions of Microsoft Outlook for Windows. In addition, Outlook 2001 for Mac does not use the Label field feature of Microsoft Outlook 2002 for Windows. Items that are categorized or labeled in Microsoft Outlook for Windows do not display these attributes when you view them in Outlook 2001 for Mac.

If you want to sort your data, you can organize individual items with options that are available on the View menu by using the following methods:
  • To view calendar items by using different criteria, you can apply Sort or Group By definitions to items in specific or combinations of criteria.
  • To view contacts by using different criteria, you can apply Current View, Group By or Sort options individually or in combinations.
  • To view message items by using different criteria, you can apply Current view, Group By or Sort. You can also apply Filter. These options may be used in combination.
