SYMPTOMS

When you change a chart type in a PowerPoint slide, Microsoft Graph stops responding, and you receive the following error message:
Graph.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
