TV Photo Viewer: You Can Overwrite File Even When "Read-only" Is Selected (298667)

When you select Read-only in Microsoft TV Photo Viewer, you are still able to save changes to a file. This can cause you to unintentionally replace (overwrite) a file.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because TV Photo Viewer ignores the Read-only attribute.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, click File, and then click Save As to save any changes to a file under a new file name.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
