SYMPTOMS
When you first suppress or block a cookie with Internet Explorer 6, you can receive the following message:
The privacy icon appears in the status bar each time a cookie is restricted based on your privacy settings. To see a privacy report, double-click the icon when it appears.
If you click to select the Do not show this message again check box, you are unable to view this message again.
WORKAROUNDWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk.
To work around this behavior, quit Internet Explorer, and then delete the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\PrivDiscUiShown
You should be able to view the message again.
