This behavior can occur if you are using the Learning functionality in Outlook Mobile Manager. You can use the Learning functionality that is built into Outlook Mobile Manager to enable intelligent routing of messages to your wireless device. When you use Learning, menu items and buttons are added to your Outlook client to enable you to mark messages as Urgent or Non-urgent depending on how you prioritize the message. When you mark messages as either Urgent or Non-urgent, Learning compiles information that is used to automatically forward messages; you do not have to mark these messages manually.

The size difference that occurs after you install Outlook Mobile Manager occurs because of information that is contained in a hidden folder in your mailbox. The Outlook Mobile Manager Learning folder contains messages that have been marked as Urgent. After you click Learn Now in Outlook Mobile Manager, these messages are committed to the Learning data store, and then are removed from the hidden folder. The Learning process and the removal process occur automatically one time a day. At this time, if no new messages are marked for the Learning process, the mailbox statistics are the same when you view the mailbox on the client, or by using the Administrator program.
