SYMPTOMS

After you make a remote connection to the console, the title bar gradient may not extend to the title bar buttons.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the gradient is not properly restored after the remote connection is closed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem:
  • Change the theme from Windows Classic to Windows XP, and then change the theme back to Windows Classic. -or-

  • Log on to the console to reset the gradient.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
