When you edit a message by using the Outlook 2002 e-mail editor, and you use the Windows XP Fast User Switching feature while the Save As dialog box is open, the mouse pointer may disappear from Outlook.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, quit and then restart Outlook 2002.
