OL2000: HTML Stationery Does Not Support Frames (298156)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q298156 SYMPTOMS
If you design stationery that includes frames, any message that you send using this stationery appears with empty frames. If you attach the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) code to the message with the frames page, it is correctly interpreted, but this method requires an attachment for each separate frame.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because of a limitation in Microsoft Outlook and how it supports the implementation of the HTML e-mail format.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, design your stationery by using tables instead of frames. For example, you can create a Microsoft Word document that is formatted with tables, save the document as an HTML file, andthen use this HTML file as stationery.
