The NetPlacesWizardDoModal() Function Does Not Work If the Calling Thread Has Already Initialized the COM Library (297967)

The WNetConnectionDialog function may not open a browsing dialog box for connecting to network resources.
CAUSE
The NetPlacesWizardDoModal function initializes COM. OleInit does not succeed if COM is already initialized for a different thread model. Instead of ignoring this condition, the function stops the operation.
