OFFXP: Warning 2893 When You Specify Long Company Name (297931)

SYMPTOMS
When you install Microsoft Office XP, you may receive the following error message:
Warning 2893. The Control 'Company' on dialog 'UserInfo' cannot accept values longer than 52 characters. The value 'NAME' exceeds this limit, and has been truncated.
When you click OK, Setup continues.
CAUSE
This problem can occur when you specify a company name that is more than 52 characters in length by using any of the following methods:
- Insert a line using the COMPANYNAME property in the Options section of the Setup.ini file
- Type a name in the Organization box in step 5 of the Custom Installation Wizard
- Add the COMPANYNAME property on the command line when you run Office Setup from the Run dialog box
NOTE: Both the User Name and the Organization Name boxes in the Customer Information page of the Custom Installation Wizard are limited to 51 characters.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, click OK when the error message appears, and Setup then finishes normally. If you use this method, the company name will be truncated at 52 characters.
