FIX: CO_E_OBJNOTCONNECTED When You Unmarshal Interface Pointer (297709)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to unmarshal a standard marshaled interface pointer from within a COM+ component, you may receive the CO_E_OBJNOTCONNECTED error:
Object is no longer connected to the server (0x800401fd).

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
