The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000
This article was previously published under Q297559 SYMPTOMS
When you modify a file receive function in the Japanese version of BizTalk Server 2000, the following error message may occur when you click OK to close the Add a File Receive Function dialog box:
????????????BizTalk Server WMI ????????????
"\\<ServerName>\Root\MicrosoftBizTalkServer:
MicrosoftBizTalkServer_ReceiveFunction.Name="DH_FileReceiveEnd""
??????????????? : "?????????????????????????????????????"
????????????????????????
CAUSE
This error message occurs in the Japanese version of BizTalk Server 2000 because the default Group Name is "BizTalk Server ????," which includes Unicode characters. The Group Name is passed as a parameter to the stored procedure that updates the existing file receive function. The Group Name parameter is passed as ANSI characters instead of Unicode characters., which causes all updates to existing file receive functions to fail.
