FIX: Messaging Manager: SendMSMQ properties dialog box contains inactive <Alt>+M hotkey (297547)

SYMPTOMS

The Advanced button in the Advanced Configuration dialog box of the BizTalk Messaging Manager Channel Wizard allows you to access the properties for the primary transport component of the Messaging Port by clicking on a Properties button. When the Message Port for the Channel is configured with a Primary Transport of Message Queuing, a dialog box titled "BizTalk SendMSMQ Properties" is displayed after clicking on the Properties button. The Alt+M Hotkey does not function on this dialog box. It does not switch focus to 'Message Queue Name:' text box.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for BizTalk Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in BizTalk Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 1.

MORE INFORMATION

This issue has also been confirmed to occur on the French version of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000.
