XCON: Event ID 2007 Occurs When Exchange Notes Connector Is Heavily Used (297481)

SYMPTOMS

When the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes is heavily used, the following event ID messages may be logged in the Exchange 2000 application log. The 2007 event ID message is consistently followed by a 2024 event ID message:

The store working set may also increase dramatically during this time. However, when this problem occurs, messages are still processed.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
