XADM: Error c103aa12 Occurs When You Configure the Recipient Connection Agreement (297401)

When you configure the Active Directory Connector, if you click the From Exchange tab of the recipient agreement, and then click Add, you may receive the following error message:
The Exchange server specified does not meet the minimum requirements. Please specify an Exchange 5.5 server with Service pack 1 or later, or an Exchange 2000 server with the SRS enabled. ID c103aa12
If you use the Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator program to view the properties of the server that is running Exchange Server 5.5, you notice that Service Pack 3 (SP3) is not listed.
CAUSE
This issue occurs if Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later is not installed on the server that is running Exchange Server 5.5.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later.
