SYMPTOMS

If your regional settings are configured to use a comma as the decimal separator (for example, in the German regional settings), filtering by selection on a Decimal field may generate the following error message when you link to an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) table that includes a Decimal field:
ODBC Call failed: Incorrect Syntax near "," (#170).

RESOLUTION
