When you use Mobile Information Server to access Exchange Server mailboxes or corporate intranet programs from a Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) device that is set to use a Phone.com 4.2.2 WAP gateway, you may not be able to dismiss the password expiration notification that is displayed on the device when your password is about to expire. To work around this issue, disable the password notification functionality in Outlook Mobile Access on the Mobile Information Server computer:
- Open Mobile Information Server System Manager.
- Right-click MIS Installation, and then click Properties.
- Click the Authentication Settings tab, and then click to clear the Enable password expiration notifications check box.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
