Incorrect Voltage Is Applied to Dual-Voltage CardBus Controllers (297257)

When a dual-voltage CardBus controller is inserted into a PCMCIA slot, 5 volts may be applied no matter what the preferred voltage is. Note that to save power, the lowest voltage the controller can accept should be used.
CAUSE
This problem can be caused by a bug in the PCMCIA bus driver.
