Cluster Server May Generate "STOP 0x9F" During Shutdown (297219)

When you shut down or restart a Windows 2000-based cluster server, the following error message may be displayed:
STOP: 0x0000009F (0x00000100, 0x88d8ed30 0x88d8ed30 0x88f93cb0)
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the cluster disk driver does not properly initialize the device parameters.
