OL2002: How to Import Address Book information from Netscape 6 (297076)

SYMPTOMS

You cannot import your Netscape 6 address book into Outlook 2002 because there is not an available converter.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

WORKAROUND

Use the following steps to work around this behavior:
  1. Install an earlier version of Netscape. (For example, Netscape 4.77.)
  2. In the older version of Netscape, import the address book from Netscape 6.
  3. Use the information in the following article to complete the import from Netscape 4.5 and later:
