SYMPTOMS

When you are running a program that makes use of Edit controls on the Thai localized version of Windows 98 Second Edition, a memory leak of Graphics Device Interface (GDI) resources may occur over time.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
