FP98: FrontPage Theme Elements Are Not Displayed Correctly (296819)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view your Web pages after you apply a Microsoft FrontPage theme, theme elements such as banners and hover buttons may not be displayed correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Download the current version of the Microsoft FrontPage 98 Server Extensions from the following Microsoft Web site:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/languages/fp/98exts/exts.asp

  2. Install FrontPage Server Extensions on the Web server.
  3. Open your web in FrontPage Explorer.
  4. On the Views bar (on the far-left side of the FrontPage window), click Themes, select a different theme from your current one, and then click Apply.
  5. On the Views bar, click Themes, select your original theme, and then click Apply. The FrontPage theme elements are now displayed correctly.
