If you use the Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0 Option Pack version of Smtpsvc.dll as a relay host in a connection between two Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 sites with the Internet Mail Service, messages to multiple recipients may not be delivered, and public folder hierarchy replication may not work.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Windows NT 4.0 Option Pack version of Smtpsvc.dll converts uppercase characters to lowercase characters for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) addresses if the recipient list contains more than one recipient.
