When you open the detail window for an event, you cannot navigate to the next or previous event.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, open and close each event.

In Microsoft Windows NT Event Viewer, you can navigate to the next or previous event without having to open and close each individual event.
You can view events in many places in the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) console. One example location, in which you experience this behavior, is when you navigate to Monitor\All Windows NT Events, and then you double-click any listed event.
