After you drag a message from the Inbox folder to another folder while Outlook Express 6 is set up to use an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) account, the message still appears in the Inbox.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because moving a message from the Inbox to another folder opens a second connection to perform the "copy" command. This results in two simultaneous "select" commands on the Inbox, a demand that some servers cannot support. As a result, the "selected folder" connection is dropped to allow the "copy" command to execute.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
