CPU Runs at 50 Percent When You Shut Down W3SVC (296359)

If you manually stop the W3SVC service, your CPU usage starts to run at or around 50 percent.
CAUSE
This can occur if AuthFilter is enabled on one or more of your Commerce Server 2000 sites.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, restart the IISAdmin and World Wide Web Services, or run IISReset from the command line.
