Eudora Is No Longer the Default E-mail Program After Uninstalling Internet Explorer (296295)

After you have selected Eudora as your default e-mail program, when you start Eudora, you receive the following message:
Eudora is not currently the default mail program.
Would you like it to be the default mail program?
You do not expect to receive this message after configuring Eudora as your default e-mail program.
CAUSE
This problem occurs after you uninstall Microsoft Internet Explorer.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use one of the following methods to reconfigure Eudora as your default e-mail program.
Method 1: Configure Eudora- Start Eudora. The following message appears:
Eudora is not currently the default mail program.
Would you like it to be the default mail program?
- Click Yes.
Method 2: Configure Internet Options- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, double-click Internet Options.
- In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Programs tab.
- Under Internet programs, in the E-mail list, click Eudora.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
