System Manager Is Not Available from the Start Menu (296252)

After you install Mobile Information Server, if you click Start, click Programs, and then click Mobile Information Server, System Manager may not be available. However, when you start Microsoft Management Console (MMC), you can manually add the Mobile Information Server and Short Messaging Service Connector snap-ins.
RESOLUTION
This issue can occur in the following installation scenarios:
- You run Setup, and then customize your installation.
- The first time you run Setup, you specifically install components, but you do not choose to install Administrator Tools. However, when you run Setup again, you install Administrator Tools.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, either manually add the System Manager components to MMC, or install all components the first time you install Mobile Information Server.
