When you attempt to copy and paste slides from a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, you may receive the following error message:
system error &h80004005 "-2147467259". Unspecified error
CAUSE
This behavior can be caused by a corrupted PowerPoint presentation file.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, save the corrupted PowerPoint presentation file as a Microsoft PowerPoint 95 presentation, close the presentation, and then reopen it.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the corrupted presentation, and then click Save As on the File menu.
- In the Save as type list, click the following format:
- In the File name box, type the file name that you want to use, and then click OK.
- Close and then reopen the presentation.
