SYMPTOMS
When an Analysis Services database archive is restored and the database contains a cube that uses the HOLAP storage mode for one or more partitions of the cube, the cube may display #ERR for all the data cells in the cube when you view the cube through the cube browser.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (the Analysis Services Components - Sql2kasp1.exe). For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services version 8.0. This problem was first corrected in the Analysis Services Components of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.MORE INFORMATION
The fix for this problem is in the archive functionality of Analysis Services. Therefore, archives created with an Analysis Services version prior to Service Pack 1 (SP1) may still exhibit this behavior when restored on an Analysis Services server that has SP1 applied.
