To determine the number of client access licenses that are installed in SBS 2000, use one of the following methods:
  • Click Start, click Small Business Server Personal Console, and then click About under the Helpful Links section in the right pane.
  • Follow these steps:
    1. Click Start, click Small Business Server Administrator Console, and then click Server Status (Backoffice Home).
    2. Click About under the Helpful Links section in the right pane. To add more licenses, click Add License.
To determine the number of client access licenses that are installed in Windows Small Business Server 2003, click Start, click Server Management, and then click Licensing.

In SBS 2000, when you double-click Licensing in Control Panel, you may receive the following message:
Not available in Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Server. To add client licenses, choose Manage Server from the Start Menu and select About Small Business Server.
In SBS 2000, when you click Administrative Tools, and then click Licensing, you may receive the following message:
To add more licenses, refer to the Small Business Server Console.
