Refresh Button Is Unavailable When You Open Monitor, Rules, or Configuration Screen (296032)

SYMPTOMS

While you are working in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) interface, the Refresh button on the toolbar may unexpectedly become unavailable. This behavior occurs if you expand Microsoft Operations Manager (Default) and then click Monitor, Rules, or Configuration to view any of those screens.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because information in the Monitor, Rules, and Configuration folders is static and there is therefore no need for an option to update (refresh) the display.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
