Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager Remains in Administrator Console (296027)

SYMPTOMS

When an additional Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000 Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager is uninstalled from a MOM configuration group, the MOM Administrator console may continue to display the server as a Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager definition is not removed from the MOM database.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for assistance with the removal of the Data Access Server/Consolidator-Agent Manager definitions from the MOM database.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
