The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Operations Manager 2000
This article was previously published under Q295978 SYMPTOMS
When you are collecting performance data for a process and more than one instance of the process is running, Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) does not allow you to monitor only a specific instance of the process. You can monitor either all instances or no instance.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
Note that when MOM is managing multiple instances of a process, the data for each instance is marked with the #n suffix, where n represents the instance number.
